What is UAP Old Mutual Foundation?

UAP Old Mutual Foundation is the social responsibility arm for the UAP Old Mutual Group, comprising Faulu Microfinance Bank. The Foundation, originally known as Old Mutual Kenya Foundation, was established as a Trust in 2014 and incorporated in 2017. The Foundation is one of five Foundations within Old Mutual Limited company, including Zimbabwe, Namibia, Malawi and South Africa.
How we give back

Our community investment focuses on financial education, skills and literacy programmes, including financial awareness and education programmes. Financial inclusion programmes, such as those intended to strengthen bottom-of-the-pyramid financial services providers, promote innovative models of the distribution of financial services and financial technology, and/or advance research on the financial system that informs more inclusive national policy and regulation.

Our community investment also focuses on access to quality healthcare through funding provision of medical equipment, improvement of healthcare infrastructure and intervention programmes.

We also support environmental conservation through funding of sustainable management of resources, the protection of the natural environment, changes in public policy, individual behavior and conservation initiatives.
